Almost Home Doggie Day Care

Sherrie has worked as a Chief Financial Officer for various non-profit organizations.  Her sense of community service has moved from a people focus to that of dogs and their companions.

 Kim has excelled in many areas, from being the chief engineer of a fire truck manufacturer to having his own carpentry and handyman business.  Those skills have helped him build innovative play areas for the dogs.  He is also a writer and artist, and recently completed a novel with a dog as the main character.  

Our love of dogs is evident in the way that they respond to us.  We are proud that owners tell us that their dogs behave better after coming to Almost Home.  Dogs are eager to please us because we treat them with love, which is the universal language that they understand.

Our Youth Staff

We are fortunate to have young people who work for us after school and on Saturdays.   It is great that their energy matches that of the dogs, they too love to run and chase.

Our staff LOVE dogs. 

Carla owns 4 dogs of her own: Paris (Great Dane), Brie (Border Collie mix), Ruger (Dane and Mastiff mix), and Angel, a recent addition to the family (Dachshund and Pomeranian mix).  Angel belonged to one of our customers and needed a new home.  Carla and her husband, Steve, adopted Angel, and now Angel gets to come to AH every day. 

Carla's love of dogs has passed onto her daughter who is studying at UC Davis to become a veterinarian. 
 

Patricia has a wonderful affinity for the dogs.  It is easy to see that they love her because she loves them.  She is one of those morning people who will start your day with a smile.
